Summer Fellowships

Gaining hands-on experience is vital to choosing a specialty that will fit best for you. CPMG offers summer research experience for undergraduate and medical students, and fellowship clinical opportunities with an emphasis on genetic medicine.

For summer fellowships, prospective candidates should apply from mid-January to March 1. Please forward a CV, a list of coursework and grades, a cover letter describing the applicant’s research interests and career goals, and the names and emails for two references to Dr. Hila Rasouly, PhD, Associate Director of Education, Hila.MiloRasouly@columbia.edu.

Scholarly Projects Program and Summer Research Opportunities for Medical Students

Gaining hands-on experience is vital in choosing a specialty that best fits you. CPMG offers 1-year positions for medical students interested in doing their scholarly projects in genomic medicine, as well as a summer research program for medical and undergraduate students with an emphasis on genetic medicine.

Our annual Summer Research Program typically admits 4-6 students per summer for a 10 week research internship conducted under the mentorship of a CPMG faculty member. For more information and to apply, please visit the websites of participating Principle Investigators:
