Dr. O’Garro-Moore is an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology in the Psychiatry Department of Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. O’Garro-Moore received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Temple University. He completed his clinical psychology internship at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Medical Center, and clinical fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment of adults with SMI, as well as trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and insomnia. Dr. O’Garro-Moore has also studied the role of sleep and circadian rhythm dysregulation in mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. O’Garro-Moore’s current approach to studying sleep and circadian rhythmicity is in the context of psychosocial treatment.
