Research Themes

End-stage renal disease necessitating renal transplantation or dialysis is a major public health problem worldwide. We apply genetic approaches to identify common and rare variants producing kidney failure.  Our long term objective is to identify specific genes and dysregulated pathways underlying these disorders in order to facilitate the development of new diagnostic tools and rational therapies.
